Parks & Recreation Online Registration

All activities of the Wethersfield Parks and Recreation Department are listed in their online registration system. Residents may search by type of activity among other criteria. Anyone who is interested in registering for programs online must first become a registered household. To do so, simply register your household online. After viewing an activity's description, cost and current enrollment count, registered users may sign up and pay securely using a credit card. Other features of the system include the ability to view and print family household and activity calendars, reprint a receipt, pay old balances online and to print child care statements for tax purposes.

Wethersfield Business Directory

This searchable database will help local residents find goods and business services provided by Wethersfield businesses. Business owners are asked take a few minutes and add their business to the Wethersfield Business Directory.

GIS Mapping Online

The Town of Wethersfield provides online access to Wethersfield's geographic information.

Geographic information available at this time includes:

  • Regularly updated property information including ownership, valuation and zoning
  • Planning information, such as wetland and conservation areas
  • Recent aerial photos

There is an abutters tool, drawing and measuring tools and printable map generation.

Pay Town Taxes Online

The Town of Wethersfield has implemented an online tax payment system. Citizens may pay their real estate, personal property or motor vehicle taxes easily and securely. In addition, your payment history is available online. For those taxpayers who choose to pay online with a credit card there will be a 2.7% convenience fee, for each debit card transaction there is a $3.25 fee and there is a $0.50 fee for each bank account/ACH transaction. This fee does not go to the town but to the bank for the transaction processing costs.

Land Records Online

Wethersfield land records are available online. The index has a starting date of Oct 1, 1991; records after October 1, 2003 include the actual documents. The records online are updated every night. An index search is free of charge; there is a charge to view/print documents. For a certified copy of a document, please visit the Town Clerk's office.

Town Code Online

The Code of the Town of Wethersfield is comprised of the Charter and all special acts and ordinances adopted by the town. It is the duty of the Town Clerk to keep an up-to-date copy of the Code on file for use by the public. As a convenience to the public, the town also contracts with an outside vendor to publish the Town Code online. Since there there is a delay until changes to the Code are reflected in the electronic version, only the copy maintained in the Town Clerk's office should be relied upon.

Prescription Discount Cards

The Town of Wethersfield, in partnership with the Connecticut Conference of Municipalities and ProAct, Inc., provides all residents a free prescription discount card. Residents whose insurance plans lack prescription coverage or have high deductibles can present the card to save about 20% on brand name drugs and up to 70% on generic prescriptions. The card is accepted by most pharmacies in Connecticut, and can be used as often as needed for the whole family. In addition to prescription drug discounts, the card also offers significant savings on eye exams, eyeglass frames and lenses, as well as LASIK vision treatments. And card holders can save 35-65% on the cost of hearing services and products. The card can even be used for some pet prescriptions. Residents can go to www.CTRxDiscountCard.com, choose "Town of Wethersfield" from the drop-down menu and print a personalized card.

CT Alert Emergency Notification System

The State of Connecticut has implemented an emergency notification system to alert residents anywhere in the state about life-threatening emergency conditions. You can receive emergency alerts for up to five locations of your choice on any communication method you use; such as your cell phone, e-mail and text message. Sign up, and keep it updated, on the CT Alert ENS Citizen Sign-Up Page.

Connecticut River at Hartford

The National Weather Service Advanced Hydrologic Prediction Service publishes frequently-updated readings of the Connecticut River height measured in Hartford, and provides forecasts. It is a good predictor of the water level in Wethersfield Cove and other areas in town where boating or agricultural activities may be impacted.

BenefitsCheckUp is a free and confidential web-based service of the National Council on Aging which helps seniors identify their eligibility for benefits from more than 1,500 federal, state and local programs. Seniors with limited income and resources, for example, could receive assistance paying for prescription drugs, health care, housing and utilities, or may qualify for income supplements, tax relief or educational assistance.
