6/30/2014 - Bridge Work Impacting Middletown Avenue Traffic
The Town of Rocky Hill has hired Arborio Construction to replace the bridge over Goff Brook on their Old Main Street near the Rocky Hill/Wethersfield town line. Old Main Street turns into Middletown Avenue in Wethersfield.
To accomplish this work they will be closing the lower portion of Middletown Avenue between Mill Street and the town line to through traffic between June 30 and Oct 1, 2014 and detouring Middletown Avenue traffic onto Mill Street, to Silas Deane, to Marshall Phelps Drive then back to Old Main Street.
Local access will be available for businesses and residences south of Mill Street. The detour and road closures will be clearly marked with signs and barricades.
