Department Description

The Tax Collection Division of Finance performs timely billing & collection of all legally assessed taxable town property in accordance with budgetary and statutory guidelines. They process and deposit all Departmental revenue and collect parking ticket and false alarm ticket revenue. The office's intense focus on the collection and follow-up of delinquent taxes has resulted in a tax collection rate of 99.2%.
