Wethersfield is located in central Connecticut, immediately south of the State Capital of Hartford, on the west bank of the Connecticut River. It is bounded on the north by Hartford, on the east by the Connecticut River and Glastonbury, on the south by Rocky Hill and by Newington on the west.
The Town Hall is located at 505 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield, CT 06109. Offices hours are Mon.-Wed. 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Thurs. 8 a.m to 6 p.m., Fri. 8 a.m. to 1 p.m..
Driving Instructions to the Town Hall
- From the North:
- Follow I-91 south to Exit 28 for combined Routes 5 and 15 south (Wethersfield). Take first exit, Exit 85 (Wethersfield); the exit ramp will merge into Route 99 (Silas Deane Highway) south. Proceed 1 mile; at the fourth traffic light turn right onto Church Street. The Town Hall is the first building on the left; turn left into the parking area.
- From the East:
- Traveling west on I-84, take Exit 58 (a left exit) for combined Routes 5 and 15 south (Charter Oak Bridge). Take Exit 85 (Wethersfield); the exit ramp will merge into Route 99 (Silas Deane Highway) south. Proceed 1 mile; turn right onto Church Street; the Town Hall is the first building on the left.
- From the South:
- Follow I-91 north to Exit 24. At the end of the ramp turn right onto Route 99 (Silas Deane Highway) north for 2.2 miles. Turn left onto Church Street; parking is on your left behind the Town Hall.
- From the West:
- Traveling east on I-84 toward Hartford, take Exit 52 for I-91 south (New Haven). Then follow the directions "From the North."
